1. What is the CranioCatch Labeling Module and what is it used for?
The Labeling Module is an AI-assisted platform designed for the systematic annotation of medical images. At CranioCatch, we use the data labeled through this module to train our own AI models. Researchers who wish to develop their own AI models with custom datasets can also use this platform for annotation. Afterward, our expert team completes the model development process and delivers it to the researcher along with the performance results.
2. How does the Labeling Module work?
It is a browser-accessible platform. Researchers are given dedicated accounts to access label.craniocatch.com From their project dashboard, they can annotate the uploaded images. A detailed training session on how to use the platform is provided by our team.
3. Will the AI model developed be owned by me?
Yes. All AI models developed upon the researcher’s request belong entirely to the researcher. The model output files and technical documentation are delivered to the researcher. Only AI models developed by our own team are used in official CranioCatch products.
4. Is my data secure?
Yes. Once the AI development process is complete, all data provided by the researcher is permanently deleted. If requested, a data confidentiality agreement can be signed prior to the project, ensuring that the data will not be duplicated and will be deleted after project completion.
5. How much data do I need to train an AI model?

For optimal model performance, a sufficient amount of training data is required.

  • For 2D images (e.g., panoramic, periapical): a minimum of 1,000 images is recommended.
  • For 3D images (e.g., CBCT): a minimum of 100 images is advised.
